What is a modular home?

Modular construction is a method of constructing a structure offsite under controlled conditions before transporting and assembling it at its final location. The home is constructed in multiple sections, or modules, that are then assembled on a site on a foundation to create a complete home.

Are modular homes built to last as long as traditionally built homes?

Yes, modular homes are built to meet or exceed the same building codes and standards as traditionally-built homes. They undergo rigorous inspections during construction to ensure they meet these standards. 

Do you offer customised/bespoke homes?

Yes, our homes can be customized to fit the homeowner’s preferences and needs. We have floor plans and design options to choose from, and modifications can be made to accommodate specific requirements.  We can work off any architect's plan if you prefer to come to us with your own drawings. 

What is the cost of a modular home?

The cost of a modular home can vary depending on factors such as the size, design and customization options. Most oten modular homes tend to be more cost-effective than traditionally-built homes because they are manufactured offsite, which allows for increased efficiency and reduced labour costs. However, it is important to consider the overall costs, including site preparation, delivery, and foundation installation.  Prices can range anywhere from E60,000-120,000 for a 4 bedroom fully completed home. 

Can you get financing/mortage on modular homes? 

Yes, modular homes can typically be financed in the same way as traditionally built homes. Homeowners can apply for mortgages or loans through banks and financial institutions that offer financing for modular homes.  

Do you need planning permission?

Yes you will need planning permission, it is the same as any traditionally built homes.  Although there are exemptions for home extensions which can be built in a modular style.  There may be certain restrictions depending on your local building codes and regulations. What is your payment plan?

We require 50% payment on contract signing and 50% remaining balance payment including any incurred extras prior to final installation.
